When I worked at Convair in San Diego the rep from WD-40, a local company, did a demo that took my breath away. He took the top off a 55 gallon drum and with a running electric drill in his hand, he plunged the drill into the drum up to his elbow, held it there for about 5 seconds and pulled out the still running drill. No shock, nothing.

That just means that WD40 doesn't conduct electricity.

I used it to get my hi-lift jack working!

They use to use WD40 to clean off the tops of the batteries when finishing them. Removed the crud and rayon marks. They got it in 55 gallon drums.

WD40 say it needs to be kept mixed up when using such a large container but they never did.

The active ingredient would settle out as a white looking liquid. I have about 5 have about gallons of that. Add a little naphtha to it and it's good as new.
