If you search TSB for probably most manufacturers there is probably one involving that. Many of the techs I've interacted with personally and on forums say that almost any strange issue especially electronic first step is clean the main ground as it is painted to prevent corrosion. All that makes ground contact is whatever threads cut through the paint when bolt goes in. They grind paint, coat with dielectric etc. and reassemble. It fixes many issues.
