I have 180k miles on my 2003 Santa Fe. It has started consuming a little oil and I'm wondering if I should replace the PCV valve. I've never done this. Does anyone know where it is located on this engine? Is it an easy job for a n00b?

Thanks in advance!

Not sure about your vehicle.

I can tell you to spend the extra couple bucks for the genuine O.E. part. Maybe even the grommet too. Local machine shop told the had a bout with freshly rebuilt 1990's chevy 350's using oil. Turned out guys were putting in the cheapest PCV valve they could find. Swapped out to Delco and everything was fine. Now the include one with every rebuild.

SOMETIMES spending the extra money is worth it. Just my two cents.
