my buddy has a 97 F350 single cab, last year of the square body style, and he needs a new bench seat, hes sitting on metal right now. Would a bench seat from a 1980-1997 F150 or F250 fit?

a 96 f150 is a different body style. i wil assume a seat from a 95 down f150.250,350 will fit if you use the whole seal including the brackets. or get his seat redone.

making a seat fit is not that hard.i put an s10 seat in my scout years ago

1980-1998 F-250HD/350 and 1980-95 F-150 will work. 1980-96 Bronco should also work, so will 1981-1998 F-600/700/800/900.

The 1997 F-350/heavy duty F-250 was a carry over from 1996. The Super Duty did not come out until 1998 as a 1999 model.

1980-96 will all work. I'd go for the '94-'96 split bench with fold down console or '92-'96 buckets if possible. That will offer the most comfort and a high back rest.

I have seen '97-'03 F-150 seats in this generation of truck, but I am not sure what modifications have to be done to the seats or tracks. The center section of a Super Duty seat might be too wide.
