First time using Pennzoil HM and it seemed to help cut down usage a bit. Went from about 1 quart to half quart in 5k. Using M1 HM on the current fill as I got it for the same price.

I'm using M1 HM in my leaking Firebird right now. I have some Pennzoil HM in my stash for an upcoming change after I use up my next bottle of M1 HM that I have. Good to see that it seems to hold up well, aside from the shearing. I plan on using their 10W-30, which should be a bit less prone to shear. The shearing didn't seem to affect anything at all, wear wise, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Which oil was on the 08/01/10 test ?

Looking back on my reports, it was Mobil 1 EP. Was going to run that oil lower but the previous oil had some traces of coolant from a previous blown head gasket replacement and got itchy to see if it went away.

Its located next to the oil filter on that engine.

Good question. It's been a couple years since I changed it. I'll have to replace that next oil change.
