One of the acceptance criteria of this material is that
it must maintain a minimum midpoint torque of 85 Nm
throughout the entire test duration of 200 hours.

What is it?

Brake fluid?

I really have no idea

Another lead:

First description.

Which transmission fluid?

Sorry, but some people were complaining that the questions were too easy.

One of the acceptance criteria of DEXRON VI (TM) is that
it must maintain a minimum midpoint torque of 85 Nm
throughout the entire test duration of 200 hours.

This was one of the specifications that GM developed for their latest generation ATFs.

The friction modifier chemistry had to be stable for longer periods of time in the newer generation ATs.

Improvemnts in Dexron VI over Dexron IIIH

So we'll award the Piston Cup Lapel Pin to CHARLIEBRONSON21 who had the closest answer.

Except Charlie copied my answer, then guessed two tranny fluid brands. MolaKule, were you formerly a judge for the olympics?
