Picked this up this week.
1976 RCA model CA 097A 9 inch TV
These small sets came with a battery pack in the bottom that holds 2 large batteries. The front plexi cover comes off.
These came in yellow, red, and white cabinets.
Made in Taiwan.

The ad says it's a black & white TV. Did they make a color version too?
 
That thing looks awesome. I'm sure it would look cool with some other vintage decorating/knick-knacks.

The final color standard adopted was the NTSC standard and was the single standard in NA until HDTV. Europe used the PAL color standard.

When I was in High School I worked after school for a guy who owned a radio and TV repair shop.

He called NTSC, "Never The Same Color."
