A single UOA should not be used as a decision-making factor unless the wear metals are so elevated they're a cause for alarm, in which case, the engine is probably lunched.

Like a compression or cylinder leak test, a single UOA is a SNAPSHOT. For any of those tests to be useful, they have to be done at established intervals, in order to establish a TREND. Trend monitoring is far more useful at determining actual engine wear. This is how it's done in aviation.

ok heres a not so interesting update..after throwing multiple misfires in cyl 1 and 3 i went in to my tuner to get my plugs changed and while i was there did a compression and leakdown test.both passed with flying colors and motor is super strong. the advise of my tuner to change the plugs running e85 once a year was spot on. im doing another sample tomorrow..only took 2 months to drive 1k miles and will update with the latest UOA..
