Is Citgo Supergard motor oil any good?

I've run the Synthetic 5w30 and the Dino 10w30 in various vehicles over the last few years. No issues to report, even with those -25F, non garaged mornings using the 5w30.

The dino 10w30 worked fine through last winter in my Jeep Cherokee, though it is garaged at night. The Jeep did fine with the go to work, sit outside for 8 hours, and restart in single digit below zero situations (and that is temp, not windchill - there are days where reaching zero would be an achievement).

I've recently "inherited" a stash of oil that is getting used up (mixture of Chevron 5w30SL, Penzoil 5w30SL, and Quaker State 5w30 SL, along with some Chevron 10w30SL), but I wouldn't have an issue using the Citgo oils again.

I thought we had it bad in upstate new york, but I guess not.

It rarely gets below zero..

I'll stick with my YB 5w30 with no block heater..

Spend a few winters in Saranac Lake NY, zero is often the daytime high!

Yeah, I'm in Ticonderoga, which is a ways south, and it's about that brutal.

The worst is my girlfriend lives in Oswego, literally on the beaches of Lake Ontario. I thought I knew brutal winters until I was driving my 4cyl Contour with all-seasons through a blizzard there!

The OP apparently knew where to buy it six years ago.
Thirty five years ago, I used to buy Citgo oil from Kmart.
I have seen this oil online.
