2013 Cruze Eco Castrol BOT 303 11,102 miles

Here's the second UOA on my Cruze. Wear metals came down nicely. I also put in a magnetic drain plug during this period. Refill was with Amsoil.

did you put in the mag plug at the last change? If so were there many filings on the plug?

The magnetic drain plug was installed about 3k miles before I changed the fluid. I drained the MTF into a clean container, installed the magnetic drain plug, and poured the fluid back in. There was some small powder on the drain plug when I changed the fluid, but no flakes or large chunks.

BOT is what Castrol calls that line of fluid. As far as I know, it is made for GM. Seems to be for their MT designed in Europe.
