Chev Cavalier AC Compressor Bearing

I am convinced it is the bearing and not the clutch. I have ordered a new one for $20. It will be a few weeks before I get to this, but I will post some pics and the results of the repair.

I just need to borrow a clutch puller or buy one for this copmaressor

Took everything apart, and I was wrong the bearing was fine. The clutch faces were heavily scored (IMO) although its been 25 years since I have last had to deal with AC clutches. I re assembled the unit with a bit more clearance between the clutches and all seems fine for now.

I did notice the outer clutch face was only worn on one side. (top pic) As ii it was rubbing on one side of the clutch. When placed on top of the other clutch it sat flat. I was going to turn that face in a lathe, but ran short of time...
