2011 Dodge Avenger oil advice

Just picked up this Avenger to replace my wife's Elantra. Manual says not to exceed 8k miles/6 months and it recommends 5W20 meeting MS-6395. It is the 2.4 liter engine. I plan to just follow the oil life monitor. Anyone have experience with this engine and want to recommend an oil?

I think I read somewhere Mobil1 5W20 isn't MS-6395 certified. Me? I'd use Valvoline Synpower 5W20. Valvoline doesn't get much love on here but their UOA's always seem to be great.

My son's Chrysler 2.4 is at 170k and runs like a top. I think it may not be the same 2.4 you have though? I'd suggust PYB. His is on Maxlife due to age and miles but we used PYB in it before also.
