First it was the PureContact, now we have TrueContact.

I suspect the tread pattern is at least in part a marketing gimmick. I like it! It's an aggressive pattern but it's a standard touring tire and rated at 800AB tread life.

Those look good. The tread pattern is kinda wild. Conti makes some nice tires. Now that Michelin has discontinued the Primacy MXV4 and since I'm not a fan of old stock, I'd be inclined to try some of these or their other offerings next time around.

I've been a fan of Generals which is one of their subsidiaries and have used their ExtremeWinterContact's before -- those were good too.

Yep, they do look good and will probably be best, or near best in class. I have the tire they are replacing, the "ProContact with EcoPlus Technology" and have to say I'm very impressed with them.
