No, it won't. That's already been discussed here to death. Transmission fluids will do nothing to clean up sludge and are not high in detergent. Plenty of techs might do it, but plenty of techs are wrong. Plenty of techs will also sell you an air filter at every OCI if you want to spend the money.

In a few thousand miles, you will have removed most of the sludge. 0W-40 or 5W-40 may run fine, but thicker oil will not necessarily clean out the sludge.

Otherwise, DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS ADVISE!!!

It is BAD advise...
