I changed the old fluid for the first time (my guess as its used) over 68K miles. The fluid that came out was a dark burgandy red color so I was happy so far.I drained and took the sample there before I proceeded to remove a return line and have the fluid pump into a bucket while filling the dipstick hole with Redline D4. So thats about it. I put Redline D4 in the factory fluids place. What I found interesting is that there was visible metallic flakes that you could put on your fingertip and was about the size of 5 or so sand grains. For some reason this uploaded image is relaly grainy so I hope you can still read it and give me your feedback.
