This appears to be a revised edition of the popular Dueler H/L Alenza tire.

From my research, Bridgestone targeted improved treadwear, reduced rolling resistance and more sustainable manufacturing processes with this new tire.

Based on the sizes shown on TireRack, the pricing is up slightly (no big deal) and there seem to be more sizes available than before.

I think this will end up being a very competitive offering for drivers who are looking for a long-wearing tire. Tires are not cheap for these newer CUVs that have large wheels, so it's good to have another quality option available. I'm sure Costco will start stocking these, since they are becoming a big seller for Bridgestone.

Has anyone tried these out?

If these are anything like the original versions they will be superb.

We put over 50,000 miles on a set of the 1st gen when they first came out and at that point the tires were not even half worn yet. Never needed re-balancing the entire time either, with plenty of traction throughout. Great all around SUV/truck tire.

Between these and the Dueler Ecopias, Bridgestone has really stepped up their tire choices. Competition is good for everyone.

Replaced the horrible stock Michelin's at 31k on the Armada with the original version of the Dueler. Yes, 31k and the tread was gone. Worse tire I've had the displeasure to own. The Bridgestone's on the other hand, are 42k and still doing just fine. Excellent, well balanced tire between all aspects of rain, snow, noise, tread wear, etc...

By late fall will be replacing with a new set at about 50-55k mark.

I just got a set mounted for my wife's RDX at Costco last night. I'll hopefully be putting them on this weekend.

I've always had good luck with the many different types of Bridgestone Dueler tires, from Revo's to the AT695's. Hopefully these keep me buying them.

Any updates?

I need to buy a set of tires and it's between these, the Yokohama YK580, or the new Pirelli Scorpion Verde Plus.
