Firestone Precision Sport: opinions?

My nephew just got a set of Firestone Precision Sports on a 2003 Subaru Legacy, in 205/55R16 91H, 400 AA. I have never ridden on these tires, as far as I know; the few things I read in passing seemed positive apart from noise. It's an aggressive tread pattern.

The car is driven fairly gently most of the time, but sees the occasional muddy back road with potholes---some of which will not be patched till next year around here. Reviews at TR rate it good in winter: always a plus.

Anyone have experience with or thoughts on these tires? Thanks.

my firestone firehawk wideovals? i think, horrible name but AMAZING grip, I LOVE THEM but what I say take it with a grain of salt because I have driven in winter storms and horrible weather in cheap walmart tires in my honda civic and never had traction issues really, I love driving in weather and I know I can drive really good in weather for sure.
