Exactly what manual calls for, it has special mode when using for programming.

Where did you get it and for how much?

Im curious to see if it overshoots battery voltages like to 15.6+ when finishing a charge.

Ive reprogrammed my car dozens of times just on battery. I shut off all accessories, thats it.

That charger seems to be going for a little over $400 on Amazon..
Is this for a shop?

My car battery on Porsche was down to 12v after 7 programming, not sure when CAN would shutdown and corrupt my DME.

This car has huge AGM battery 105AH too....

As I said this is normal recommendation looking at service manuals for BMW ISSIS, Piwis, - Autologic manual states that.

I spoke with my dealer and confirmed that this what they use.
