Orscheln Farm and Home had all of their Valvoline durablend on clearance at 3.30 a quart. Not bad considering it was maked down from 5 something.

The store by me only had 7 quarts of 10w-30 and 3 of 5w-30 so I cleaned them out.

I'm not bashing, this is an honest question-

But is $3.30 a good price for Durablend? What kind of price would it normally fetch in a 5 qt jug at Walmart or another big-box retailer?

It isn't spectacular but cheaper than it can be found most places. It is around as cheap per quart as the 5 quart jugs of conventional valvoline at Walmart.

Orschelns does have good prices on oil every now and then. Every now and then they are cheaper than walmart on valvoline products.

I see online that Orscheln has Mobil Super 5000 for 2.79 everyday price.

Finding Durablend is the hard part, getting it at a decent price is a win IMO. That comes out to $16.50 for 5 quarts, comparable to Dexos blends in jugs at Wally's. And you won't find Durablend at any Wally's around here anyway.
