Given that it's viscosity at 100C is about 10 times the viscosity of the oil that you are adding it to, you betcha it increases viscosity

It's a super heavy, detergentless oil. It serves two purposes:
1) Dilutes additive of your oil, thus making it less effective
2) Makes the oil heavier.

You aren't considering pouring that stuff in your engine, are you?

Yeah Lucas oil is a false tense product with great demo features. Too bad its way of fixing a leak is to dilute what is already there, thicken it up a gang, and then hope that by dilution it will varnish seal the leaks. Its a great thick 3 in 1 oil for squeeking door hinges and locks though. Even in group 3 synthetics which lack pao or poe , this product at best will only thicken and cause lower oci. If ppl want to thicken it up, a sae 30wt will do that and have some detergents.

Yes. In fact, I think the term "stabilizer" comes from the fact that your oil pressure won't go as low at idle when the engine is warm, so the oil pressure is more "stable." In a worn engine, it will usually increase oil pressure throughout the rev range.
