Placed an order with Metro Toyota (Ohio) online for a few repair parts. Also got two oil filers apiece for the Rav4 and Avalon. Price was $3.99 apiece.

Filters feel heavy which I like. Also noticed a clear plastic covering over the business end which I never saw before and also like. Shine a light and the pleats look tight and evenly spaced.

Won't use either until autumn.

Just noticed that you said made in Thailand. Not sure if they are the same as the one I posted but if they are genuine with the wrap and everything I'm sure they are about the same.

Made in Thailand Toyoto filters are Ok, but not very efficient - 51% @ 20 microns.

Given the syrupy goo I cleaned out of mine after my first synthetic run in this varnished motor...they filter pretty well. The oil certainly showed no signs of this syrup.
