At Walmart yesterday, need some oil for the 2012 Subaru Forester, wander over to the oil isle, and suffered a severe case of analysis paralysis. M1? PP? PU? 5w20? 0w20? A "custom blend"? Wait, I see PYB In 0w20 too! No smart phone to access the wisdom of BITOG, just hazy thoughts of VOA's and "it made my car sound better". So after wearing a 20 foot hole in the floor, M1 0w20 5qt jug and 5w30 in a qt ast she takes nearly 6 qts in that tiny engine.

Best site ever and I learn a great deal from y'all. Off road diesel mech for 25 years and doing lots of reading here

thanks, Mike

After a while of staring at the oil isle, people start seeing things.
