Anyone know what the oil assembly sensor

Was told by mechanic the oil assembly sensor is leaking and I tried buying it online but can't seem to find it anywhere .... Is there another name for it? On a hyundai accent 2002

Your mechanic meant Oil Pressure Switch.

It'll be listed under sensors at the auto parts website.

If I don't know what kind of car you have, I wouldn't be able to know how your car oiling system works.
Some have a simple switch that shuts off the oil light after pressure builds
Some have a transducer that is used by the ECM, or the needle on the instrument cluster.
Some have a sensor that measures how high the level of oil is in the sump.

Also, there can be multiple variations on the same car. I once had to order an oil pressure sender for a 1980s Nissan 300ZX, and there were 4 different senders, 1 for an NA engine with an analog display, 1 for a turbo engine with analog display, 1 with an NA engine and a digital display, and 1 for a turbo engine with a digital display.
