So I have the day off tomorrow, and its supposed to be nice out. So in addition to washing the Accord, I would like to replace the PCV valve. As far as I know its the factory valve so it has 120K on it. Ive watched a You Tube video on it and it seems pretty simple. I still need to go buy the 3/8 to 17mm socket. Question is, should my Honda dealer have this in stock? Its for the 2006 Accord 2.4 in my sig, also if they dont would an Advanced Auto valve do the job? Any tips and / or advice is welcome.

I would try to get the OEM part, and trust me I use substitute brands all the time as I am as cheap as they come. But hopefully for under $10 you can have a genuine PCV valve. I am not familiar with your engine, but on some cars you do not need the socket if you can get a wrench in that space.

I did it on my car yesterday ... took 2 mins... cost was like $16 for the oem pcv valve from dealer

definitely need a deep socket wrench will never fit
