What other model camper shells are compatible with short bed (6-1/2') Silverado / Sierra?

e.g. would a Toyota Tundra camper shell fit?

I am trying to find a used one and want to expand my options.

A while ago I wanted a cap for my Tundra, so I started collecting measurements from the web. One problem you will run into is that nobody seems to make the rear of the cab perfectly vertical any more--they are all angled somehow. Which you might not care about.

I only collected data for the 6.5' beds. I found two sites, so some measurements conflict.

Chev:
'73-87 is 79.25" long and 72" wide, 23" tall.
'88-98 appears to be an inch shorter in length.

Sometimes you can get mismatched colors to work. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That said, you can have fiberglass repainted.

Nice little list, thanks. Going to print it for my Dad.

I think that a black topper/lid would look fine on any color of truck, since you already have black tires, black plastic trim pieces, black plastic caps on the bumpers, etc.
