AC line repair / splice

Hey Guys,

Have anyone used something like this ?

No I haven't. What problem are you trying to fix? It's obviously a leak, but what type of vehicle is it and where is the line broken?

If the line is not replaced, it'll crack and break along the same line, especially the rubber sections.

those leak. the aluminum line that those compression fittings go on is too soft. it wears away and leaks. we get about $40 to make you a hose correctly. im sure your local ac shop can make it for around the same price

ALU pipe is broken, unfortunately a lot things need to be removed to swap it ... I was thinking about installing this hose between ...

Not sure if AC shop will be able to help as no way to solder due to rubber hose that is 3 inch away, transfer heat would damage it

we cut the pipe before the break.weld on new barbs and crimp a new hose on.

I want more details into why it would be so hard to replace it properly.
