04 Sentra 1.8l extended oil change

Have a recently purchased 04 nissan sentra..1.8l with 129,000. good shape, burns no oil...anyway it only has a 3 qt. oil capacity and I just put in 3 qts of Pennzoil PP 5w-30 with a pureone filter..Can I do an 1 year extended oil change on this vehicle..driven approx 7000-9000 miles per year 50/50 city and highway.

It sounds like you're using good oil and a good filter. I see no reason why you couldn't do what you're proposing.

I do it on my 08 vibe(4 qts), just wondering about the 3 QT. oil capacity???

Good oil but I would be wary if the pureone filters. They seem to have been tearing more lately. I would go with a better filter like the farm ultra, until purolator gets their stuff figured out.

I think you would be fine with any full synthetic at that interval - but, as always, keep the oil level topped off.
