carquest 5w30 full synthetic

Does anyone have a virgin oil analysis of this oil. I returned a filter to carquest and the got 5 qt jug of this oil for free and was just wondering what kind of additives it had in it.

PQI has test of their conventional which was marginal at best.

Their conventional is supplied by Ashland which blends Valvoline. Comparing CarQuest to Valvoline white bottle...specs were a tad under, but add pack is close (slightly weaker) NOACK was at the limit but passed. I would guess that their synthetic is also an Ashland product, but am not sure. Use with no worries at all.

Yeah thanks guys. I cant find anything for carquest synthetic in the 5w30 that I got but I would assume its better then there conventional.

Carquest brand motor oil is no longer made by Ashland. It is now produced by Warrren oil(not Dist.).. All of their oils and brake fluids are produced by Warren. The change happened about a year or so ago, roughly.
