I have 1.5 bottles Rx Plus in my 1994 Sube 2.2 and will run it at least 6,000 miles. 500 miles don't bother

I'm continually amazed when people use a product expecting it to cure a problem and it doesn't when a) they don't really know what is causing the problem (or even what the actual problem is), and b) the product (in this case Auto-Rx) is not advertised as a solution for "valve train tap."
Now that the noise is still there, Auto-Rx gets another "it didn't work for me" endorsement.

As you know I am not a fan of OTC oil additives but after you have used the ARX without success try this:
Engine Treatment
It has a number of ash and ashless detergents.
If that does not fix it, then you have a situation that requires adjustment of the valve lash or a part replacement.
