Honda Civic fuel filter location

My first Honda Civic 01 LX I have replaced all fluids and other stuff before I put the car on the road.

Where in the heck is the fuel filter located,,,,I know it is hiding somewhere in plain sight.

Next to the firewall by the battery,thats where it was on my 01 crv, only took 5 minutes to replace.

Relocated it to the fuel tank? I think the last generation to have them in the engine bay was 96-00

for 7th gen civic, fuel filter is located inside the fuel tank and it's not serviceable (for as long as you own your car).

Also: it's a returnless fuel rail system.
