I had read a bunch about Meguiar's Ultimate Compound. Figured the finish on the Accord was neglected enough to try it out. I just bought this car around a month ago. I used a buffer I got from Harbor Freight - used the buffing pad that came with it. I have Meguiar's pads coming, but they have not showed up yet. I thought I would try with the buffer:

Here are the results. The picture of the hood shows the finished side (passenger side of hood, left side of the shot) and the other side shows the faded, neglected paint I started with. I was very happy! I have never used Ultimate Compound before, much less buffed a car. I was amazed how well this did....
