My Grandpa's CTS has a working oil pressure gauge too.

My 01 Toyota Tundra has a functional oil pressure gauge where it will sit at different positions at warm or cold engine idling or when accelerating or cruising. Never heard complaints on Toyota based forums. While it's not a true graduated pressure gauge (like those diehards that plumb hot oil into the cab) I thought it's a cool feature.

Can you list your vehicles? Which scanner do you use to verify that gauge is reporting the accurate temperature?

I use an Ultragauge to monitor temps.

On my Sierra the coolant temperature gauge isn't very accurate. For instance the gauge will read 70C while my Scangauge shows actual coolant temperature to be 55C
