Additive to clean combustion chamber?

I totally agree with the "Sweed" above.

I've done a lot of research in the past about carbon cleaners, and it looks like MOPAR Combustion Chamber Cleaner 13oz. is a totally different animal and many swear by it and it has a very strong following out there...its been said to be stronger than the old GM Top End Cleaner that is now discontinued.

I think I found out who makes the MOPAR CCC 13oz. for Chrysler/Mopar.....a small chemical company who private labels that I ran across who I also think makes the Yamaha-Yamalube Combustion Chamber Cleaner 13oz.

The owner of the company carefully eluded to it but would not come out and say it due to confidentially agreements with different companies.

A tech. from ATP Inc. who makes the obscure "AT-205 Reseal" (that I can say really worked on my power steering gear box leak 2yrs and no leaks) "leaked some info to me" and said the company "Smart Blend/Life Automotive" makes their proprietary formula AT-205 Reseal for ATP Inc. which is how I found out about that company SmartBlend......

Anyway, the brand label is Smart Blend Upper Engine & Combustion Chamber Cleaner 13oz #17045

The owner of the company said it will dissolve hard carbon and told me to get some old carboned valves to try it on or use a borescope. Some day I was going to go to a local head reman. company and see if they have some old heavy carboned valves to try it on.....I'll post pics if I ever do the test.

They also have another strong product called: #17020

Really? Was that discussed here on BITOG or did you hear about somewhere else or from Wynns?

O.K....I found the thread, but the Wynn's they talk about is not an aerosol like the MOPAR CCC and the Smartblend, Yamaha CCC, and even the Johnson-Evenrude mentioned which is also an aerosol and all are packaged in 13oz cans which seems consistent to one mfg. Not sure about this, and will have to look at MSDS's.

Anyone?

Here's the list of MSDS's on the Wynn's site and the Mopar stuff is towards the bottom of the list:

Does Wynn's have an equivalent aerosol to the Mopar CCC?

I guess mystery solved on this one...

Wynn's Professional Products Combustion Chamber Cleaner MSDS:
http://www.wynnsusa.com/pdf/68902, 68904, 68917.pdf

I'd don't see listing for each of the other individual products in the MSDS: 68902, 68904, 68920

Wynns/Mopar CCC MSDS:

Then there's Wynn's De-Carbon Foam – Aerosol 11-8-12 A6407 which I don't see on their site unless it's been discontinued:

Only found the A6407 here...AGAIN 13oz can:
