Did the usual weekend detail on the Accord today, with some added steps. Did an Iron-X treatment and gave it a clay for the first time, a first for the Accord and a first for me. Here is what I did...
-Wash with dish soap
-Dry
-Spray Iron-X everywhere, glass, paint, rims and let it dwell for 5 minutes, wipe with damp sponge and let sit another 5 minutes
-Rinse
-Clay (used Meguiars smooth as glass kit)
-Wash (used Meguiars Ultimate wash/wax
-Wax (used Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax) and used Meguiars Ultimate spray wax on all windows
-sprayed tires with Meguiars Hot Shine tire dressing
All in all turned out really good, paint feels so smooth.

Nice work!

What are your thoughts on Meguiars Ultimate wash/wax? I'm still stuck on Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo, but I think I need to try something new next time.

In my experience a wash is a wash when it comes to car washing. Meguiar's Gold Class is so good simply because you can buy a gallon of it at a time at Costco.

I will say compared to the generics or Turtle Wax washes the Meguiars Gold Class full strength also does surprisingly well to wash out my pads when I'm done. Soak the pads in water pour a generous amount on the pads, work it in, let it soak, then rinse.

It does almost as well as Dawn, I stopped using decgreasers like Purple Power on my pads simply because they cause my skin to dry out and crack.

Ultimate is excellent, it provides exceptional lubricity between the wash mitt and the paint

Oh man, they were terrible. Gave me a headache in no time! And the smell was stuck in the concrete driveway for hours as well.
