now using 5w-40 castrol edge full synthetic
but its decreasing fast, after 2000km about 1LT decreased
my city never drop blow -10
am i need to use 5w ? 10w will be enough fluid first start

i want to use 10w-40 but its hard to find full syntetic ones.
i heard liqui moli one of the best arond here

here is my options;

10w is enough protection no more -10 degrees and 40w is enough for max 40C climate with LPG ??

I would purchase either of the 10w40 that is less expensive. But do replace the pcv valve on your engine.

1 liter of oil in 2,000km is very fast consumption. I would have the car inspected to find out why it is using oil so quickly. Switching to a different oil is only a temporary solution to a larger problem.

I don't consider your car to have high mileage. Some might, but nearly all of my cars have far more...none of them "burn" any oil, but they do use some. E.G. I add nothing to the Corolla or S600, and I might add 1 QT per 5,000 miles in the Volvos...more in the Toyota 4 Runner...closer to what you're adding, but it has over 250,000 miles on it.

The oil consumption is a little high for your car's mileage, but most manufacturers won't consider a warranty claim until it's using 1 liter in 1,000KM...so, personally, I would just keep buying whatever meets spec for your car, and is reasonably available (both cost and in stock). 5W40 is a good all season choice.

i have 92 ford taunus which produced in Turkey and last.

2.0 ford pinto engine with weber carb.

my city never drops below -10 and never goes up more than 40C in summer

i will replace real soon but i cant decided yet.
should i go with motul or liqui moly for 10w-40 grade

i think 5w not necessary because as i say my city never ever drop below -10 and i want one step thick stop leakings.

motul 6100 vs liqui moly superleichlauf
maybe 15w-40 but no...

my oil info not good enough to make choice so i need your help
