Pennzoil Ultra Platinum is out in the wild!!

I just checked online and its only at selected Walmarts. I'm going to the Casino this weekend and found out a Walmart by that casino has it and I just called and asked for a price check. He said they have 5-6 jugs of the 5 quart jugs of Ultra Platinum and they just got it in and it was going for $25.17, Mobil 1 is priced at $25.17 online at Walmart.

Happy hunting guys! Easter comes early lol
 
Exciting! I keep checking my local Walmart for the new Ultra but no luck =/ They have had PPPP for a month or so now.
 
Pennzoil is similar to walmart, in my eyes. They have an excellent product readily availible, but when it comes time to ask questions (customer service) there is no one in sight. I have found exon to have far superior customer service.

I agree. The old Platinum was the worst thing that happened to Ultra, the new P4 is going to blow Ultra Platinum right off the map in sales. It'll be "Ultra Unobtanium" in no time. JMO.

Well then you missed the Q&A with Pennzoil then. Also I have to disagree about XOM and I gave up hope that XOM will ever give a straight answer from a technical standpoint on their products years ago.

yeah, we always get the shaft. Even if it made it this side, it would be ~$50 at canadian tired, and $45 at wal mart, not the fantastic prices our friends to the south get.

Update:

So I made my way over to the New Richmond, WI Wally world today. I was hoping they hadn't sold those 5-6 jugs of Ultra Platinum yet and when I walked over to the automotive isle I was shocked!

Marked down to $25.17 was the 'old' Pennzoil Ultra SN in 5 quart jugs! They had bout 9 of them left on the shelf. Well, dong gonnit, I had gone all the way there to get the new stuff! What was I to do???

I decided to grab 3 jugs of PU over the new PUP. I would have grabbed all nine but the wife said to me after grabbing 2, "How many are you going to grab? I saw you have more of that oil downstairs in the basement! There better be gold in there!"

Women..... I have enough to get me through to 2017 when GF-6 specs should be coming out. Hopefully Pennzoil will get Pennzoil Ultra Ununpentium w/ Alien Technology out by than

I saw 5-qt jugs of PUP at my local WalMart yesterday for $25.17.
I passed since I already have 4 5-qt jugs of PU.

What to do? Pay $25 per 5-quart jug of Ultra at Walmart.com like I did and they bring in to your door. Free shipping when I ordered two. (My local walmart does not stock ultra.)
