If a filter was capturing 20 micron size particles 100% of the time, I'd be worried about flow.
Is that why a PureOne with 99.9% @ 20 microns can still flow like this?

Or a Fram Ultra which is rated at 99% @ 20 microns and flows just as good or better than the PureOne because of the full synthetic media. It's not impossible to have very good filtering efficiency and good flow. Those two filters are a prime example.
Besides, "filter flow" is basically a moot point (except under rare conditions) when there is a positive displacement oil pump moving oil through the filter & engine.
