Note to self: It's going to start it in crooked, so make sure to get the parting line in the bore first so it doesn't blow out when you try to level it out.

I found out that it was cheaper to by a whole bushing kit than to by just the bushing I ruined.

Now I'll have extras in case this happens again. And the odds are good that it will. I have six more bushings to R&R.

The proper sized bushing driver and hammer. I'm just out of practice. The rest of them went in without a hitch.

The last transmission I rebuilt was 35 years ago. An old Hydra-Matic Jetaway.
