Tolerances for different Truck Engines?

Is there any charts I could check on Minimums and Maximums tolerances on UOA for Wear Metals, Contaminants, etc on different brands of engines like Cummins, CAT, Detroit Diesel? Need help please.

Your thread title may be misleading; you're really asking about condemnation limits? .... No biggie ... just a clarification. When I read "tolerances" I was thinking of machining clearances, not "limits". I think you are really seeking condemnation limits, if I read your post right.


Read this; page 11. It's a bit older, but I doubt the values have changed much. Doug's experience is quite relevant, but you asked about OEM limits, so this is probably more applicable.
