On our 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan. The bottle is full. That's not annoying at all!

I did get it to go out for half a day or so by giving the bottle a smack with a rubber mallet and checking the electrical connector.

It's going in next week for the slight power steering pump leak anyway.. Good times. ~8300mi on the ticker. Otherwise has been a fine van.

You need to hit it harder, And more often.

I'd also use a nice American made Claw Hammer instead of a wimpy rubber mallet.

Just keep hitting it, Eventually it will work again.

I appreciate the tip Saab. You're a real peach.

Where is the power steering pump leaking?

(Onto the driveway, ha ha ha!)

No, what PART of the pump is leaking?

Some weeks back I smelled burning oil in the van. Couldn't find any signs of engine oil leakage (better not at 8K mi!), but found the PS Pump covered in fluid and it's buried down in there, close to exhaust. I can tell if it's a shaft seal leak on the pump, loose hose, fitting, etc. The PSF reservoir is staying at midway between add/fill, but it seems to be pressurized the 2x or so I removed the reservoir cap, that has what looks like a breather hole in it.

Got a dealer appt. for it next week. Real excited about that.

123saab, I hear you. 4/1.

Cross-, one WS washer bottle is shared for front/back on this van.

Avoid using the powdered mix windshield washer stuff. Lots of times it won't dissolve properly and clog up lines and floats. Some dealers use it as it saves $$

Also, most repair shops don't use water softeners, and in places where I have lived, you can count on limestone to build up.

I usually buy 1 gallon containers of washer fluid because the water is demineralized first.

Had the same issue with my 2009 T&C. It seems to have gone away on its own.

Still bothered by the 1qt/1000 mile of oil usage though. Will keep experimenting with different oils.

Dealer replaced the "level sensor". Hopefully the new one will last more than a few months & 8K miles.
