Was searching for rear hub assys for my 99 Avy and found Febest brand on Amazon for dirt cheap. Never heard of them. Googled and discovered they started in 1999 in Germany with motto of German Quality for Japanese cars (loosely paraphrased). They have USA HQ in FL. Have any of you heard of them or used their parts? Thanks.

1 year warranty on everything, they claim. That's not really that great -- many others offer longer terms, sometimes even lifetime.

My opinion is that the warranty length is a strong indicator of the product's quality.

From what I have observed, I will take Japanese quality over German quality any day.

Do you know who actually makes them?

A while ago, I installed some rear struts on a SAAB, and the struts had "MEYLE OF GERMANY" written on them in huge letters. Somewhere else on the package were tiny letters that said "made in China"

Check country of origin, especially on wheel bearings. I haven't seen a generic wheel bearing from China last more than one year.

On another forum, someone said Febest manufactured their parts in China. For kicks and giggles I am going to contact Febest tomorrow and see what they say.

All Chinese bearings can't be bad.

What kind of bearings do the Chinese auto manufacturers use .... made in USA ??!!

I'm 70 yrs old and well remember when "Made in Japan" meant junk. Not today.

I'm a retired electronics tech and can tell you that a lot of Sony/Toshiba etc TVs and stereo units were made in China/Taiwan/Singapore .. wherever it was cheapest.

I live on Lake Erie and I know that many of the recent freighters on the lake were Chinese made.

I would want to know how good the Febest parts perform in the real world, not condemned up front for where they were made.

Timken manufactures in China. So does SKF.

I would be more concerned that I never heard of the company than the country they are made in. At least as far as quality goes.

This appears to be a Russian owned import company.
I never heard of this brand, it certainly isn't a known German quality product, more like a ebay/internet seller type operation. Personally I wouldn't consider them.

They sell in Germany through this Reindeer parts outfit in Berlin.

I am not blaming all bearings from China. Companies like Timken, SKF, Koyo and so on have factories in China, but they are in control of the quality.

I have never had a good experience with cheap brands from China.

I made an account just to let anyone know that I bought a Febest bearing for my B7 A4 and it had to be replaced in exactly a year. I ponied up the second time around and installed a SKF bearing. I would avoid Febest if at all possible.

Rubber by Febest? Very, very, poor quality.
I buyed and replaced FEBEST 0375-FITR in june 2020. I Have a Honda Jazz (Honda Fit in USA).
Now is december 2020 and, by hazard I observed that the rubber protections of pins are cracked and the failure is iminent.
In june, at the moment of replace, everything was properly cleaned and the new grease fromm the kit 0375-FITR was used.
Now is that moment when I regret that I didn't buy the Honda OEM kit since the begining.
Please, everyone, do not waste time and money on this brand. Febest sucks.
