Three firearms coming out of storage: Ruger single-ten, marlin m60 and a Winchester SXP.

Thoroughly cleaned before storing in case about a year ago

Should I do anything particular to them now before breaking them out?

Just make sure there is nothing in the bores and there is no gummed up lube and all should be well.

+1 on cleaning them.

One year should be no problem.
5+ years is interesting, a decade or more is REAL interesting

How about 40 years? Still cleaning up the bore on my Trap Door Springfield, but the, action and chamber were just fine and it shoots well!

If they were stored with a preservative, I would just wipe it off and re-lube the gun with the gun lube of your choice.

Thanks all...

Quick wipe and relube is the way I'll handle them
