This is by far the only book you'll ever need AS FAR AS ADVICE GOES:

The recipes are out dated, but, overall, the book is a great way to get started on cutting back on processed foods and sugars.

The problem many of us have is that we buy foods within the aisle. This is where the processed foods are located. Stick with the foods around the perimeter of the grocery store. Stay away from cold cuts. As long as you the majority of your diet is from fresh, non-processed foods with the majority of the meal consisting of veggies/fruits/legumes, you can easily eat, on occasion, a hot dog, big mac, etc. or order a big meal at a restaurant and not feel fat and guilty about it. Although lately this is starting to become far from true as eating any of those things after you have been eating "right" for a long time will get you sick.
