Here it is fellows, the new to me 1996 Chevy half ton truck

A little roof paint, some compounding of the rest of the truck, a vacuum and a tire should be all it needs, right?

The interior is actually in excellent shape - a few stains but no rips or holes in either seat or carpet. It even came with a hat and a pair of work gloves AND an unopened pack of Winston cigarettes.

That's what I was really hoping for. However, it looks like it might need a little more work.

At least you don't have rust to deal with down there. Up here a truck that age would be pretty much rusted out and not fit for the road unless it wasn't winter driven.

There is probably another reason it got parked.

It looks like a really fun project. I am a huge fan of GM trucks like that.

Do this to get the tire back on the rim, preferably when all the hay and acorns are still scattered about.
