Sample was done 2.5yrs after pan was dropped and AT refilled. This is a cattle feed truck used on a ranch that rarely if ever sees paved roads. Will probably run another 2.5-3yrs and resample to see how metals are faring. First sample was unknown mileage with unknown fluid, but based on this 2nd looks a lot like the AC Delco ATF. I'm now wondering if that wasn't FF. No fluid was changed at time of this most recent sample.

Vendor Comments:
Flagged data (Copper/Lead/Tin) does not indicate an immediat4e need for maintenance action. Continue to observe trend and monitor equipment and fluid conditions. Cluth facing and/or bushing/thrust metal is at a MINOR LEVEL; Viscosity is SLIGHTLY LOW.

I assume this is Dex III/Type III. The mechanic they are using used to work for the local chevy dealer. They only use Delco fluids.

This signature is one of plain old DexronIII.

The lead sure makes me wonder where the source of that is coming from.

Most if not all of the bearings are steel pin bearings and or steel ball/roller bearings.

Did anyone, to your knowledge, put in some kind of wierd aftermarket additive in the AT?

Recommmend getting a VOA of the fluid next time in order to establish a baseline.
