Scroll down link for better description and the gent has a youtube video where he claimed he search for years for a pair of gloves and found the mentioned to be the best.

Made of a stronger and heavier mil nitrile
Rough texture surface for better grip
Easier to wipe the excess oil and grease off
Longer length to protect wrists
Easier to get on and off
Can be reused and reused and reusde
Less prone to rips than any nitrile glove Kent has worn

Receive the mentioned gloves today and tried on a pair. Fit is nice and tight and tactile enough so I was able to pick up individual coins from my change bowl. Material a lot more rugged and thicker than Nitrile Gloves.

Won't actually used them until about April 2014, beginning of my semi yearly vehicle maintenance.

Normally, doing pmcs/operators maintenance on mraps/tanks, I use nomex issued gloves or dun dun dun Oakley pilot gloves here:

Love Army mechanics, "yo bro, this this and that is broke, top off tranny fluid and oil as well"
"Well, what about the broke stuff?" -me
"You broke it man, wrenches are over there, parts over there, fluids are there"

I swear I've come home dirtier than the mechanics. LOL

Dang, they must be pay good money in the ARMY since I've been in, decades ago, if you can buy a $70 pair of gloves.

Funny, yesterday I found a pair of the green wool liners we used under the leather gloves we had. Both were great. Those green boot socks last forever also.

GumbyJarvis, thanks for your service.

I use the Nitrile non-powdered for oil changes and situations where my hands don't risk injury. I bought a few sets of the blue HF gloves and while I've not yet used them, the fit is excellent. I'm considering a pair of their red gloves for more demanding work.

Over the holidays I noticed HD now stocks Husky Mechanics Gloves. They fit and felt good in the store but having just bought the HF gloves, I couldn't justify their higher price tag.

Husky Mechanics Gloves

Husky Heavy Duty Mechanics Gloves

Husky Fingerless Mechanics Gloves

From another site

Good Winter Mechanics Gloves?
Check out Ringers, we use them with good success in the oil field. I wear both the insulated and non insulated and like them both. Lots of options and they offer Kevlar cut resistance and well as impact protection.

Ehh E3 pay, plus in a combat zone with incentive pay plus tax advantages as well.
Normally the oakleys are for dismounted use or mission use,
The pilot flyer nomex gloves are the multipurpose gloves.

I have so many green socks, shoot on weekends in cowboy boots in garrison I'll wear them.
