Best short shifter grease?

Thinking about reinstalling my short shifter. I have two different greases on hand,some industrial grade moly grease,and Mobil 1 synthetic grease. I also read online just now where white lithium grease is also recommended. Which one is the best for this application?

The shifter basically works on a ball and socket pivot ball.

Also,is one of those safest on rubber bushings,etc?

I'd use moly, you know what you're getting with moly and it doesnt degrade CV boots so its probably ok with other plastic, too. Lithium grease goes kind of 'hard' and 'crusty' over time, and I've never seen orr used mobil 1 grease before.

What did the manufacturer of the short shift kit suggest?
