I have seem Lambo's for sale that needed new clutch's at 1,800 miles...

Is it possible for "you" to wear them out? I thought they were completely controlled by the computer and nothing you do can change its wear pattern.

My Prizm was still on it's original clutch when I sold it at over 250k miles.
My protégé 5 is approaching 150k and is still on the original. Don't know how long that one will last as I am teaching my 15 year old daughter how to drive a stick.
