Drinks oil like Ted Kennedy. Super smooth stick shift and clutch. AC stuff ripped out due to squeaky compressor clutch, shorter belt applied. Fantastic tires. Went with 195/60/14s instead of 175/70/14s for 20mm more traction action. New front flexpipe/ catalytic converter, new belt tensioner, all the saturn problems covered, except for the elephant in the room piston rings. Rear door sills shabby. Rest pretty good for rust. New Maine inspection in October. As shabby as it is, it's priced in what I believe to be the 80th percentile, where 80% of what you'll find for $1200 is worse off. 218k miles. Clear title. Cumberland county Maine region.

Do an oil / filter change with Mobil1 5W-40 turbo diesel,
then change it again in 500 miles...

May help oil burning...

This would involve spending money. laugh

It's had two changes with Peak 10w40 in 1000 miles.

I know peak != M1TD. wink

Didnt know Ted drank oil.He created an oil slick back in the late 60s with an Olds Delmont...but I dont think he drank much of it.

No, an SL doesn't have room for big people. Even when I weighed 140 lbs. I couldn't fit in one. How would he ever go on a date?

Congrats, good thing she bought it or I'd be mad about her smoking in the car.
