2011 Mitsubishi Outlander 2.4L @ 39,600 mi.

Mobil1 0W-20 Extended something (green accented bottle)

Looked through the manual and "taught" my friend how to reset the service reminder of HIS car.

Hyundai warned me against leaving the T5 in the engine, advising that it could void the warranty.

Switched to QSAD as recommended in the owners manual, at 3k mile oci. They ok'd the P1 filter, recognizing its quality, while saying the oem is preferred.

Ran it just over 6000km, this was the oil from the change done at the dealer when I bought it.

I ran the API stuff for a total of a year and will do the same with the HPS as well.

In: QS Defy 5w30, Pennzoil filter

Took advantage of a great coupon to get my oil changed at a local shop. I asked about the filter and all they told me was "a quality Pennzoil filter." At $19.95 for QS Defy plus filter and labor, with a 5k-ish OCI, I was not gonna quibble.
 
Today on the Sedona...

OUT: 5.5 quarts Mobil 1 0w30 AFE, and a can of Mos2, Fram TG9999 oil filter. 5,000 miles on fill.

IN: 4.5 quarts Napa synthetic 0w20, 1 quart Napa synthetic 5w30, Fram TG9999 filter.

Doing the Fusion's oil change tomorrow... oh what fun in cold weather!
